When I searched TikTok in the App Store of my Apple TV, I found that the app was unsupported. However, there are alternate methods to watch TikTok on Apple TV. In most cases, I will use an iPhone or iPad to stream TikTok videos wirelessly using the Screen Mirroring option on the Control Center. If my iPhone runs out of charge, I will use a Mac to screen mirror TikTok to the streaming device. For both cases, an active WiFi network is essential.

How to AirPlay TikTok on Apple TV from iPhone or iPad

[1] Connect your Apple TV to WiFi, which should be the same as your iPhone/iPad.

[2] Get the TikTok application from the App Store on your phone.

[3] After installing, open the TikTok app and sign in to the account.

[4] Play a video, go to the Control Center, and click the Screen mirroring option.

[5] Choose your Apple TV from the list.

[6] Upon connecting the device, the video will play on your Apple TV.

How to Screen Mirror TikTok on Apple TV from Mac

Before entering the steps, connect your Apple TV and Mac to the same WiFi network.

[1] Open Safari on Mac and go to the official website of TikTok (tiktok.com).

[2] Log in with your TikTok account to continue.

[3] Play any TikTok video from the home screen.

[4] Then, click the Control Center icon on the Mac menu bar.

[5] Click Screen Mirroring from the list of options.
