On the Xbox console, you can download your favorite games and application from the Microsoft Store. Perform Soft Reset
Before jumping to the advanced method, let’s try the basic troubleshooting method.
- First, you need to switch off your Xbox console by unplugging the console from the power socket.
- After a couple of minutes, connect the console to the power source.
- On your Xbox console, press and hold the BIND button and EJECT button.
- Next, click the Xbox button.
- Release the BIND and EJECT buttons once you hear the two power-up sounds.
- This will take you to the troubleshooting menu.
- In the menu, click Reset and select Keep my games and apps.
Now, check if the error still appears. If yes, move to the next steps.
Restart your Router
Like restarting the device, you need to restart the router and modem too. Just by restarting the router, there are a lot of possibilities to fix the minor error and glitch that happens in the network. Simply turn off the router and plug out the cable from the power source. - Here, set the Primary DNS as 126.96.36.199 and Secondary DNS as 188.8.131.52.
Clear and Reset MAC Address
When your MAC address is corrupted or has any minor glitch, you will get the Xbox Error Code 0x8007013D. You can use the below steps to reset the MAC address to fix the error.
 Go to the Settings menu on your console.
 Click Network Settings and select Advanced Settings.
 Then, select Alternative MAC Address.
 Tap on Clear and finally select Restart.
 After performing the steps, wait for some time and restart the setup. Now, try updating the games.
Reinstall Xbox App
Sometimes when the problem is with the installation files, the Xbox will show the error. To fix it, you can delete or remove the application completely from the Xbox console and install it again.
 Open Control Panel on your PC.
 Click Programs and select Uninstall a program option.
 Now, choose the Xbox app from the installed list and right-click on it.
 Tap Uninstall to remove the app.
 Restart your device and install the application again to see if the error code still persists.
Alternatively, you can use the Xbox application on your iOS or Android device to install the game you want.
 On your smartphone, launch the Xbox application and go to the My Library section.
 Then, select the game and tap on it.
 Click the Download to Console option and choose the console you want to install.
